What Are Sinker Sliders?

Sinkers sliders allow you to change out your sinker without cutting your line. I use 8 to 10 oz bank sinkers when I fish the channel  side of the Missouri river.  When I fish the non-channel side in the flats behind a wing-dike I switch my sinker out to a 3 to 5 oz sinker. Sinkers sliders also allow you to take your sinker off when you are transporting your rods.. Before I had a boat I had to walk a mile to get to my fishing spot and it made the journey easier not walking with 2 poles that had 10 oz bank sinkers swing around from the momentum of walking.
